We have resilient communities, industries and a strong history of responding to drought and climate variability in the Northern and Yorke region. Continuing to build resilience is important in order to adapt to the projected global and regional drivers of change.
The Northern and Yorke Regional Drought Resilience Plan was approved by the Commonwealth in March 2024.
Future Drought Fund
The Northern & Yorke Regional Drought Resilience Plan is jointly funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and the Government of South Australia.
